Now includes Infant Massage!
Although it is instinctual to want to calm your crying baby, knowing how is not. As a certified Happiest Baby Educator, I will show you how to take your baby from blue to bliss in seconds, and increase the amount of sleep everyone is getting. Unless you have been told otherwise by your baby’s pediatrician, even the newest of infants should be able to sleep for three hours at a time during the night between feedings. If your baby is waking more often than that during the night for feeding, or if you find yourself bed-sharing to get more sleep, you have turned to the right place. I will teach you how to perform Dr. Karp's 5 S's, start a nighttime routine, lay your baby down in his or her crib for bedtime, and how to eliminate nighttime feedings when the time is right. We will talk about how sleep differs for babies and adults, and will put together a schedule that will change as your baby ages.
There is no other language babies understand more than touch. Infant massage has the power to soothe fussy babies, promote restful sleep, and create a more secure attachment. It also boosts babys' immune system, circulation, elimination, relieves gas pain and creates a cognitive awareness of their body and how it is all connected. These benefits are what inspired me to become an Infant Massage Instructor and teach parents all about the soothing power of touch.
As a certified Safe With You trainer for the state of Nebraska, I will evaluate your nursery to make sure the environment is optimal to reduce the risk of SIDS, and educate you on safe sleep for babies. Once I leave, I will continue to provide ongoing support via text messages, emails, and phone calls.
Although I truly believe the best way to provide these services is in person, I understand that proximity and schedules don't always allow for an in-home consultation. During your "Soothe & Sleep" phone consultation, we will talk about the 5 S's, the importance of a nighttime routine, and discuss smart sleep habits. We will also talk about how sleep differs for babies and adults, and put together a schedule that will change as your baby ages.
As a certified Safe With You trainer for the state of Nebraska, I will ask questions about your nursery to make sure the environment is optimal to reduce the risk of SIDS, and educate you on safe sleep for babies. After the initial phone consultation, I will continue to provide ongoing support via text messages, emails, and phone calls.
"Before we started working with Kelly I thought I was going to have let my daughter "cry it out" in order to effectively sleep train her but that was not the case at all. My 4 month old slept through the night the first night we implemented Kelly's techniques and there was no cry it out! I appreciated that she came up with a schedule that worked for our routine and busy lives since our daughter goes to daycare full-time. I am so glad we started working with Kelly and my only regret is that we didn't call her sooner." - Brett Ebert, mother
"Kelly was the perfect combination of caring, knowledgeable, and disciplined. My twins have learned the invaluable lesson of falling asleep on their own. We will forever be grateful to Kelly and the impact that she has had on our lives." - Francesca Gasparini, mother
"At 1 month our daughter was still refusing to sleep in her crib and had to be held almost all the time (awake and asleep). We were getting almost no sleep and it was starting to wear on us both mentally and physically. Kelly was a huge blessing to us." - Ciaran Booton, mother
"Kelly is great to work with! She will make sure all of your questions are answered and will be with you every step of the way. I was nervous to start this process from the very beginning but she worked with us to make us feel comfortable. Absolutely wonderful person to work with and totally worth every penny! More importantly I know that my son is safe in his crib and sleeping through the night which means that I get my sleep back too. It’s a win win!" - Regan Downey, mother
